Well hello all. And by all, I mean the 0 people who actually read my rare journal entries on here. I've be yearning to be creative. Paint something, take an artistic photograph, write a story. I've also been very lazy. I kinda shut down and become glued to the TeeVee while my husband is out to sea. Which is strange, because you think I would actually go out and see people. I do that much more when my husband is home though. I feel motivated to do things, not only to please him, but things that make myself feel good and happy too. I really don't know why this is though. I always say I'm going to try every time the deployment comes up, I always say that I am going to do this or that... and I end up never doing it. Maybe its depression, maybe it was the fact that the deployment always involved winter beforehand. I don't really know. Hopefully having the summer and the sun this time will get me motivated.
The one thing I do still do is crochet. I'm almost finished with my lastest project, which is more of a practice project more than anything. I making a baby blanket, one with some very complicated and new stitches. It's actually been quite the learning experience and I'm excited for it to be finished. it would be perfect for one of my many pregnant or soon to be pregnant friends, except that I spilled a little bit of fruit punch on it. And now it has red drops on it. But I will finish it regardless. I'll take a picture and post it when I'm done. So happy summer everyone.
